Does your pooch have to get his or her anal glands expressed frequently? Annalisa sure did! That was until I found an amazing Holistic Vet that explained to me that anal glands should express by themselves. At first, I was skeptical and continued getting monthly anal gland expressions at a local Vet until I returned an hour away to the Holistic Vet and tried a Flaxseed, Psyllium and Pumpkin treat that supports healthy anal gland function. It took about 2-3 weeks to fully work and it appeared as if Annalisa's glands were irritating her more than ever. I can only say, Persevere! Today, I can't even remember the last time I saw Annalisa scoot.
The brand we use is VETCLASSICS No Scoot priced at $20 outside of LA. There are about 120 chews in a jar and I give her a chew after breakfast and dinner. Only caveat is that it is available through Veterinarians only.
Try it out and let me know your thoughts.
